Rasul Clay - Moroccan Clay Soap for Skin and Hair Cleansing

- The clay has a unique cleansing effect and absorbs excess oils from the skin without damaging the skin's natural protective barrier while maintaining a naturally beneficial pH value of 6.
When rasul clay is mixed with water, it gains its cleansing and oil-absorbing properties thanks to its silica layers which are slightly negatively charged. These attract positively charged ions and polar organic (fatty) compounds from skin and hair. Simultaneously, other positive mineral ions are released from the clay, particularly magnesium.
Rasul clay makes skin smooth and hair soft and shiny.
The rasul soap is practically fragrance-free. When soaked in warm water, it releases an earthy clay scent that doesn't linger on skin or hair.
For best results, use apple cider vinegar as a hair rinse after washing, which makes the hair even softer.
Usage: Take a piece in your damp hand and wash your body and hair if desired. You can soak a few pieces in a bowl of water and let them stand for a few minutes before use. A natural soap lather forms that cleanses well. Although it produces very little foam, it still cleans effectively - it's not the "lather" that cleanses skin and hair. For dry hair, rinse out the mixture after 2 minutes; for oily hair, you can leave the treatment in for up to 15 minutes. Any mixed clay that remains can be stored in a glass jar with a lid for 1 week.
Can also be used as a cleansing face mask. The Rhassoul clay (approx. 2 teaspoons) is usually mixed with orange blossom water (neroli) or rose water and/or essential oils. It can also be mixed with just water; apply the mixed clay to a damp face
and let it sit for 5 minutes or until it dries. Then rinse with lukewarm water and moisturize your face.

More about Rhassoul Clay: Rasul (also called ghassoul, rhassoul, rassoul) is a type of clay that has been used for centuries. The Rhassoul clay was formed during the Tertiary period and is extracted from underground mine shafts in a valley by the Atlas Mountains, 150-200 kilometers from the city of Fès. This is where the only known clay deposits of this kind in the world are found. Rhassoul clay belongs to smectite, a group of clay minerals characterized by, among other things, their ability to swell when in contact with water.
After the clay is transported up from the mines, it is first washed with water and spread out on large flat surfaces to dry in the sun. Once dried, it is broken into pieces or powder. Mineralogical and chemical controls are regularly performed to
