This blueberry powder is a true Nordic superfood rich in antioxidants. It is a flavorful health berry and a culinary flavor enhancer in the kitchen.
Holistic's blueberry powder is made from blueberries picked in our Swedish forests. To preserve all nutrients, the whole berries are gently dried and ground into a fine powder.
Blueberries are rich in vitamins and minerals, but above all, rich in antioxidants of the anthocyanin type. It is these anthocyanins that give the blueberries their blue color.
In addition to anthocyanins, blueberries contain several other vitamins and minerals, including calcium, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, vitamin C, iron, and B vitamins. Additionally, there is healthy beta-carotene in blueberries.
Lutein is a compound found in blueberries and is a carotenoid.
Usage: Enjoy 1-2 tsp of blueberry powder per day in smoothies, in yogurt, on porridge, in muesli, in desserts, in your own chocolate or other recipes. 1 tsp of blueberry powder corresponds to approx. 0.5 dl of fresh blueberries.
