UriBalans is a thoughtfully combined formula of cranberry extract, selected lactic acid bacteria, and the monosaccharide D-mannose for intimate health and urinary tract infections.
Cranberry Extract CranMax®
The formula contains the well-known cranberry extract CranMax®, made from the whole cranberry, including the skin and seeds, to preserve the berry’s natural content. CranMax® naturally contains proanthocyanidins (PAC), a group of plant compounds found in cranberries.
D-mannose
The product also contains D-mannose, a naturally occurring monosaccharide that, after absorption, is largely filtered by the kidneys and passes through the urinary tract before leaving the body.
Lactic Acid Bacteria and FOS
To complement the composition, UriBalans contains the well-studied lactic acid bacteria strains Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG, Lactobacillus gasseri, and Lactobacillus acidophilus. The formula is also enriched with FOS (fructooligosaccharides), which serve as nourishment for the lactic acid bacteria and contribute to a favorable environment for the bacterial cultures.
Vitamin C and Riboflavin
Vitamin C contributes to maintaining the normal function of the immune system, and riboflavin helps maintain normal mucous membranes.
