☝🏼 How to assemble the parts correctly

It's important that you assemble the machine correctly depending on what you're going to use it for. Keep the instruction manual easily accessible near the machine, and follow the illustration on page 5 of the manual to see how to assemble it correctly. If this isn't followed properly, the hole in the pressing chamber can be damaged – the pressing roller can scrape against the yellow ring, and cracks around the ring may develop 🥲

Remember that the warranty doesn't cover improper use of the machine.

In this video, you can see how to assemble an Omega MM900:

🐢 Juice slowly and with patience

If you go too fast, more heat is generated, and it must not get too hot in the pressing chamber. It's therefore good to feed the machine slowly so it can keep up, one ingredient at a time. Let most of the juice drain out before you insert new ingredients. You can also use the reverse function if you see clumping occurring.

💃 How to juice more than 0.5 liters at a time

It's good to clean the endcap from fiber when you've juiced 0.5 liters and then you can continue. If clumps form in the pressing chamber, you can use the reverse function on the juicer for a few seconds and then start again.

🕒 Time limit for the machine

Use the machine for a maximum of 30 minutes at a time, then it needs to rest for a while before you can continue.

🥬 How to juice celery

Insert the whole celery stalks into the juicing machine, they should not be cut into pieces.

🥶 How to juice softer ingredients

Take them out of the refrigerator just before juicing so they remain crisp. Another factor that affects juice extraction is the quality of the ingredients, which can vary throughout the year in different countries. The freshness and crispness of your fruits and vegetables will also affect the efficiency of your juicer. 👌🏼

Here is a video on how to juice soft vegetables and fruits:

🔧 How to set your endcap correctly

The celery endcap (the outermost part of the pressing chamber) is used only for celery. The standard endcap is used for other soft fruits and vegetables, such as cucumber, tomato, and citrus fruits. You can also press wild herbs, wheatgrass, barley grass, lettuce leaves, kale, spinach, and other chlorophyll-rich plants with that cap. You start by turning the endcap counterclockwise to "Max". This increases the resistance for the fibers to come out and gives you the most juice. However, this can cause the pressing chamber to heat up, so be careful and don't run at max if you don't need to.If the pressing chamber gets too hot, the endcap can become deformed. Therefore, slowly turn down the adjustable endcap if you start to experience fiber accumulation that creates a blockage in the pressing chamber. When the fibers start coming out again, you can adjust the endcap back to the maximum setting and resume your juicing session. We recommend juicing at max for a while, then reducing to half for a while. Repeat this throughout the entire juicing process for best results. The following video shows how to use the endcap on the MM900:

🍊 Alternate between soft and firm vegetables and fruits

If you're juicing something other than celery (with the standard endcap), feed in some parts of the softer vegetable/fruit (e.g., orange) and then some of the firmer vegetable/fruit (e.g., carrot). Continue alternating back and forth. Always finish with your firm product.

👌🏼 Tips for drier fiber and more juice

Our experience is that you can get more juice than you think with a little finesse. There are two methods worth trying if you want to extract as much juice as possible:

  • Turn on the reverse function briefly at the end when you're juicing and then forward again. This gives the last fibers a chance to be properly pressed and exit the pressing chamber.

  • Feed some of the already expelled fibers back in so they go through a second time. This way, the very last juice is pressed out.

🌱 How to get less fiber in your juice

Even here, it's difficult to achieve a perfect result with a juice completely free from fiber. But there are two tips that help:

  • Juice slowly and don't feed in more fruit or vegetables if the juicer is already processing a larger mass. Instead, carefully feed in one piece at a time to reduce the amount of fiber that flows out with the juice.

  • Empty the pressing chamber of fiber when you see it's getting full or when you've juiced 0.5 liters. This way you avoid fiber coming out with the juice at the outlet of the pressing chamber.

🧅 Cleaning the machine

It's easy to clean your MM900. It has only a few parts to disassemble and clean. You can also wash them in the upper rack of the dishwasher. But to prevent dirt from sticking, we recommend that you wash the parts immediately after use. Wash them with hot water, liquid dish soap, and the included cleaning brush.

Over time, a mineral coating can form on the pressing chamber. To remedy this, you can soak them in one part water and one part vinegar, at least once a week for about 2-4 hours (or overnight). Here is a video on how to deep clean your juicer:
