Vegetology
Vegetology”s mission is to find herbal, alternative ingredients that produce better results. Their supplements are 100% and they are registered with the Vegetarian Society and Vegan Society. This creative, innovative company was first to create vegan-friendly Omega 3, which is made from algae, and vitamin D3 made from moss.
Most omega 3 supplements are made from unsustainable fish oil. Vegetology wanted to find an environmentally friendly alternative, that was equally effective. Other vegan-friendly omega-3 supplements were made from ALA omega-3, which is not as effective as omega 3 (simply put: the body struggles to convert it into bioavailable EPA and DHA). So they decided to create a unique Opti3-complex, which is a rare combination of algae and vegetable ingredients that is bioavailable. It is proven to result in levels of EPA and DHA in the body, in combination with a dose of vegan vitamin D3.
Their exclusive vegan vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) comes from a special organic plant source – a lichen. A lichen is a composite organism that arises from algae or cyanobacteria living among filaments of multiple fungi species in a mutualistic relationship. This gives them unique attributes such as the ability to survive in extreme climates. It can accumulate meaningful levels of useful nutrients, including vitamin D3.
