Wermlands Choklad produces "tree to bar" chocolate, which means they have full control over the entire production chain; from the cocoa plantation to the finished chocolate bars. The cocoa comes from a plantation in Ecuador which they oversee and manage together with their partner and cocoa specialist Luis León. Luis is also a co-owner of the company, and he works to educate cooperatives and farmers in the Amazon on how to care for cocoa trees and the environment. Here, cocoa is grown alongside other fruits and spices to create biodiversity and a natural ecosystem.

Nacional cacao is a flavorful so-called Fine Flavour cacao known for its fruity aromas with pleasantly balanced acidity and notes of tropical fruits. The chocolate is raw and organic, and free from allergens such as milk, nuts, gluten, and soy.
Taste: This has a delightful orange flavor with cacao nibs and a cacao content of 73%.
