Alpha Lipoic Acid

Alpha-lipoic acid is primarily known for two things: its energy-giving properties and being a powerful antioxidant. It is both water- and fat-soluble, which allows it to reach all the body's cells. In Swedish, it is also called lipoic acid or thiooctanoic acid. R-lipoic acid is an active form of alpha-lipoic acid.
