MCT oil provides a quick and easily accessible energy supplement from fat that is experienced as stable and sustainable. MCT stands for Medium Chain Triglycerides and is a unique form of fat. The uniqueness lies in the shorter chain length of the fatty acid. Due to its shorter chain length, MCT is absorbed and burned faster than other fatty acids and can therefore be used for energy by organs and muscles immediately after intake.

This variant consists exclusively of pure caprylic acid (C8) from coconut. Regular MCT oil usually contains a mixture of C8, C10 and sometimes even C12, fatty acids that are not as effective as pure C8. C8-MCT is quickly converted to ketones in the liver, providing an easily accessible fuel that both the brain and muscles can use for energy.

Usage: Take 1 tablespoon (15 ml) daily. Take directly in the mouth or mix in your favorite beverage. As a beginner, you should gradually increase your intake of MCT oil. Starting with a teaspoon is appropriate and then increasing to 2 tablespoons per day. It works excellently mixed in morning coffee, in your water bottle at the gym, in cooking, in smoothies, or taking a spoon directly after work when energy levels feel low.
