Natural flavonoid
Quercetin is a flavonoid and naturally occurring plant pigment with antioxidant properties. The compound is found in many plant-based foods, particularly onions, apples, grapes, citrus fruits, and berries, where it contributes to the plants' color, among other things.
Bromelain and vitamin C working together
The formula also contains bromelain, an enzyme complex extracted from pineapple and consisting of protein-degrading enzymes. Bromelain helps promote enzyme activity and thereby the absorption of quercetin in the body. Vitamin C, in turn, contributes to the absorption of bromelain. Vitamin C also acts as an antioxidant that counteracts oxidative stress.
