Benfotiamine is a fat-soluble vitamin related to the water-soluble thiamine (B1). It is believed that benfotiamine can be more easily absorbed and utilized than regular vitamin B1 due to its fat solubility. Benfotiamine also has other properties than regular vitamin B1; it has been studied in connection with cognition and anti-aging, among other things. Benfotiamine is naturally found in garlic, onions, leeks, and other alliums.
Dosage for adults: 1 capsule per day with or without food.
Recommended dose should not be exceeded. Food supplements should not be used as an alternative to a varied diet. Store in a dry place and out of reach of children.
