Holistic Berberine Phytosome is an advanced dietary supplement containing Berbevis®, a patented, clinically studied berberine formulation developed for improved absorption in the body.

Natural plant alkaloid

Berberine is a natural plant alkaloid extracted, among other sources, from the roots and bark of Berberis aristata. It has a long history in Ayurveda and Chinese medicine and has in recent years attracted attention in research on metabolism and metabolic health.

Phytosome® technology

Traditional berberine has very low bioavailability, meaning that only a small amount is absorbed by the body. Berbevis® uses innovative Phytosome® technology, combining berberine with a phospholipid complex to improve absorption.

The formula also contains a water-soluble extract of Berberis aristata, pea protein as a bio-carrier, sunflower lecithin to improve solubility, and grape seed extract to support the formula’s tolerability.
