Berkey Filters - Black Berkey Primer

With this tool, you can prime (saturate) Berkey filters manually. Some faucets are too large in diameter for the Prime Rite that comes with a Berkey purchase, and some sinks are too shallow to accommodate the filters. The Black Berkey Primer is the solution.

You can also clean the Black Berkey filters. Force air through the inside of the filter instead of water to clean the carbon filter's micropores. By cleaning the Black Berkey filters, you clear the pores of debris that can accumulate from use or from poor quality source water.

It can also be used to quickly dry out the filters for long-term storage.
