Every summer, the ancient 2000-year-old method is used to collect this exclusive salt. The entire process, from seawater to salt, is handled by salt workers and is powered exclusively by solar energy, wind power, and human muscle power. Wheel barrels are used because the salt carts move along very narrow clay paths that are not accessible to vehicles.

Energy is only used when the salt is collected and transported to the warehouse and packaging facility.
