Nattokinase contains an enzyme extracted from natto, a traditional Japanese food where cooked soybeans are fermented with Bacillus subtilis. During fermentation, the enzyme nattokinase is formed, known for its unique properties. No soy remains in the final product, only the purified enzyme.

Breaks down fibrin

Nattokinase has the ability to break down fibrin, a protein that plays a central role in blood coagulation. This property has led to nattokinase often being studied for its potentially positive effects on blood circulation and the cardiovascular system.

Acid-resistant capsules

Holistic Nattokinase is encapsulated in acid-resistant capsules that protect the enzyme from being broken down in the stomach’s acidic environment. Thanks to this, the capsules can pass through the stomach and dissolve first in the small intestine, where nattokinase has better conditions for absorption.

The acid-resistant capsules are important for preserving the enzyme’s activity. Without this protection, nattokinase risks being broken down by stomach acid before reaching the small intestine, which reduces the amount of active enzyme remaining.
