Iodine is part of the thyroid hormones that regulate the body's energy metabolism. Without them, we cannot live. Thyroxine, abbreviated T4, contains 4 iodine atoms, and the active thyroid hormone triiodothyronine contains 3 iodine atoms and is abbreviated T3.

If headaches occur, lower the dose and increase gradually again. Do not use too late in the evening to avoid disturbing sleep.
