Kid's Multivitamin Chewable is a tasty, child-friendly, sugar-free, high-quality multivitamin supplement for children aged 4 and over.
Quatrefolic® methylfolate and methylcobalamin
Kid's Multivitamin Chewable contains a blend of Quatrefolic® methylfolate and folinic acid together with methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin. This combination is designed to support children who need active, methylated forms of folate and B12.
Many children benefit from methylated nutrients
The addition of folinic acid together with methylfolate provides broader folate support. Folinic acid is involved in DNA synthesis and cell growth, while methylfolate directly supports the methylation cycle.
B12 in the two forms methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin supports both the methylation cycle and mitochondrial energy production. Methylcobalamin works together with methylfolate to support healthy homocysteine levels and neurotransmitter function, while adenosylcobalamin supports cellular energy in the mitochondria.
In addition, Kid's Multivitamin Chewable contains
Other important B vitamins
such as thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B6, biotin and pantothenic acid. These important B vitamins contribute to normal energy metabolism, while several of them also contribute to the normal functioning of the nervous system and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Vitamin A, lutein and zeaxanthin
Contains two forms of vitamin A as well as lutein and zeaxanthin, nutrients that contribute to the maintenance of normal vision. Vitamin A also contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system.
Vitamin D3 and K2
Vitamin D contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system and to the maintenance of normal muscle function and normal bones. Vitamin K contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and to normal blood clotting.
Chelated minerals (Albion®)
The minerals in the formula are chelated, meaning that they are bound to amino acids. This form is designed to provide the minerals with good bioavailability.

Children aged 4 and over: Chew 1-2 tablets daily with breakfast.
If desired, take half the dose with breakfast and the other half with lunch. Do not take the product later than 5 hours before bedtime, as it may affect sleep.
Tip: Start with a lower dose than recommended. You can always give more later. Give ½ of the recommended dose with breakfast to see how your child reacts. Cut the chewable tablet in half and put the other half back in the jar. Since this formulation contains methylfolate and methylcobalamin, it is important to carefully monitor how your child reacts, especially during the first week. Some children tolerate methylated nutrients well from the start. Others may need a slower start.
This is a food supplement. The recommended dose should not be exceeded. Food supplements should not be used as an alternative to a varied diet. Store in a dry place and out of reach of children.
Store in a dry, cool, dark place, out of reach of children.
What is the difference between Kid's Multivitamin Chewable MF and Kid's Multivitamin Chewable?
Seeking Health has created two different multivitamins for children:
Methyl-free (MF) multivitamin with B-12 in the forms of hydroxocobalamin and adenosylcobalamin, as well as folate in the form of calcium folinate.
Multivitamin with the methylated form of folate, (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolate and calcium folinate, as well as B-12 in the methylated form methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin.
Which one you should choose for your child depends on whether
-your child is sensitive to methylated nutrients such as methylfolate and methylcobalamin. If this is the case, you should choose the one called Kid's Multivitamin Chewable MF (methyl-free).
-if your child tolerates methylated nutrients well (or perhaps you have not tried them yet) and you want to start with the most active forms of folate and B12. If this is the case, you should choose Kid's Multivitamin Chewable.
- your child has MTHFR or other genetic variants that may affect their ability to absorb common forms of folate and B12. If this is the case, you should choose Kid's Multivitamin Chewable.
