Matcha Whisk / Chasen

Matcha whisk or Chasen is an essential element for a Japanese tea ceremony. This whisk is made from golden bamboo with 100 bamboo prongs, designed to perfectly blend the tea and create a fine foam on top.

For traditional matcha tea preparation:
Measure your matcha powder with a bamboo scoop and pour it into a fine porcelain bowl. Add 2 scoops of matcha powder. Pour in approximately 15 cl of 80-degree water. Whisk with the bamboo whisk until the matcha has formed a layer of foam. Take a moment to enjoy.
