Matcha produced in the traditional way in Japan. The powder is finely ground from carefully selected tea leaves of Camellia Sinensis using a unique approach that gives matcha its characteristic taste, color, and nutritional profile.
Matcha is made from tencha, where the tea bushes are shaded during the last weeks before harvest. This method increases the content of chlorophyll, L-theanine, and depth of flavor. After harvest, the leaves are gently steamed, dried without rolling, and cleaned of stems before being ground into an ultra-fine powder in stone mills.
Usage: Matcha is not just for tea lovers; it's also a fantastic ingredient in ice cream, smoothies, baked goods, sauces, lattes, and desserts.
Use water that is max 70°C hot to preserve flavor and nutrients.
Storage: Store dry and cool at room temperature.
