Whole Cloves

Cloves are an aromatic spice made from dried flower buds of a tree. The tree’s glossy leaves have a distinctive aromatic scent. The flower buds are harvested before they bloom and then dried into hard, dark brown buds.

Cloves are well suited for soups, marinades, fruit, baking, and various picklings. It is a common ingredient in different spice blends, including curry, garam masala, and the Chinese Five-Spice blend.
