Närokällan's Krill Oil is harvested from a unique and sustainable ecosystem that minimizes impact on other marine life. The catch takes place in the Atlantic, where krill, which constitutes the planet's largest biomass, lives in crystal-clear, clean, and icy cold water free from pollution. This makes krill a very high-quality source of omega-3.

The krill oil contains the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA bound to phospholipids, which differs from fish oil where the fatty acids are bound to triglycerides. Phospholipids are structured the same way as the body's cell membranes, making omega-3 from krill bioavailable. It is absorbed directly through the intestinal wall.

Since phospholipids are both fat- and water-soluble, they are easy to digest and do not leave a fishy aftertaste. Omega-3 from krill can also be absorbed directly into the bloodstream without first being broken down in digestion.

Dosage for adults: 2 capsules per day. Consult a doctor if you are taking blood-thinning medication or have impaired coagulation.
