Proteases, bromelain and papain

Premium Enzyme combines proteases, bromelain and papain, which act on proteins, with lipase, which helps break down fat. The formula also contains amylase (Sternzym®), an enzyme that acts on starch and other carbohydrates.

Betaine HCl

Premium Enzyme also contains betaine HCl, which complements the formula with an acidic form of betaine to support stomach acid. The stomach’s naturally acidic environment plays an important role in the initial stages of digestion.

The product is designed to be taken with food and is also suitable for larger, more substantial meals.
