Straw made of medical silicone

The Kiki™ Kiddo Straw, a straw made of medical silicone, comes with the bottle and is suitable for children from 6 months old. The straw is made of 100% medical silicone and consists of two parts: the mouthpiece you drink from and the straw that goes down into the bottle. With a straw in the bottle, it’s easy for the child to drink in an upright position without tilting the bottle. You can also remove the straw and use only the mouthpiece, but then the bottle needs to be tilted to drink.

Many benefits of the Kiddo Straw

The vent-free design provides a light and smooth flow. If the bottle is turned upside down, a small amount of liquid in the straw may leak, but thanks to the bottle’s vacuum, the rest of the contents won’t spill out. The straw has no vent; the sturdy tip holds up very well. This advanced design allows for a fast flow while still letting children turn the bottle upside down without spilling.

Keeps cold for up to 12 hours

The insulation keeps the bottle cold (with ice cubes) for up to 12 hours. It also keeps drinks warm longer than regular water bottles. Feel free to pre-warm the bottle by pouring in hot boiled water, then pouring it out before filling it with the drink.

The bottle grows with the child

The bottle is compatible with most nipples and can easily be converted into a baby bottle, sippy cup, or sports bottle by purchasing a nipple or another cap separately.

Comfortable to hold for small hands

The water bottle has a smart silicone sleeve that provides a good grip for small hands and also helps protect the bottle from bumps. The water bottle is lightweight and comfortable to hold. It is designed for hot or cold drinks and has a measurement scale on the inside of the bottle.

Usage

Wash both the bottle and the straw before first use. The bottle should only be washed by hand as it is insulated.

The silicone cover can be washed by hand or on the top rack of the dishwasher. The bottle is best cleaned with a regular bottle brush; the edges inside the bottle are rounded to make it easy to clean. Do not heat in the microwave! The silicone cover is easily removed by wetting it and adding a little dish soap. It then slides off easily. Put the silicone cover back on the same way using a little dish soap and water, then rinse the bottle.

All Pura silicone nipples (pacifier, sippy spout & straw) should be inspected before each use. Pull on the tip including the built-in silicone valve in all directions. If any part is broken, loose, worn, or otherwise damaged or weak, the nipple should be discarded and replaced. Pura’s nipples, sippy spouts, and straws are not designed for biting. A biting child can weaken, tear, and/or pull loose the silicone including the built-in silicone valve from the drinking spout or straw. For the child’s safety, remove the product after the child has finished eating or drinking.

Do not sterilize the parts longer than recommended as it may weaken the product. Pura’s nipples, sippy spouts, and straws are designed for Pura bottles; using them on other bottles may cause premature weakening.
