Thorne's Alpha Lipoic Acid is a dietary supplement with alpha-lipoic acid (ALA) in capsule form. One capsule provides 300 mg of alpha-lipoic acid.

Alpha-lipoic acid is known for its energy-boosting properties and as a powerful antioxidant. It is both water- and fat-soluble, allowing it to reach all the body's cells. Alpha-lipoic acid prevents protein glycation and inhibits aldose reductase enzyme, which in turn prevents the conversion of glucose and galactose into sorbitol.

Dosage for adults: 1 capsule 2-3 times per day.
