Wild Blueberry Powder 250 g - Vimergy
In stock
Not all blueberries are identical. Wild Nordic blueberries and lowbush blueberries differ significantly from the larger cultivated varieties often found in stores, both in terms of color, flavor, and nutritional value.
Lowbush Blueberries
Vimergy's blueberry powder contains “lowbush” blueberries, wild-harvested in Newfoundland, Canada, in a region with some of the cleanest air and water and the lowest levels of pollution in the world. Lowbush blueberries are called Vaccinium Angustifolium in Latin, while our wild Nordic blueberries are called Vaccinium myrtillus.
Rich in Anthocyanins and Vitamin C
Blueberries are rich in vitamins and minerals, but above all, they are rich in antioxidants called anthocyanins. These anthocyanins are what give blueberries their blue color.
In addition to anthocyanins, blueberries contain several other vitamins and minerals, including calcium, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, vitamin C, iron, and B vitamins. Blueberries also contain beneficial beta-carotene and lutein, which is a carotenoid.
Cell Refresh Blend
Vimergy's blueberries also contain Cell Refresh Blend, a blend of bamboo extract and horsetail extract, both of which are natural sources of silica.
Wide Range of Uses
In dried form, you can use blueberries year-round for breakfast, snacks, or cooking. On porridge, in muesli, in smoothies, in sauces, baked goods, or desserts.
250 grams of powder, enough for about 50 servings.
