Eat for More Beautiful Skin: Food & Drink for Natural Glow

Does what we eat and drink affect our skin? Does our lifestyle affect the skin?

The answer is yes, absolutely! It’s just as they say: beauty comes from within, and what creates beauty is health. How we feel and what we eat and drink play the biggest role. In this article, we share tips on how to support skin health through daily choices.

How can you support your skin?

  1. Take regular walks in fresh air.
  2. Sleep 7-8 hours every night.
  3. Sweat – make sure to get regular exercise and movement.
  4. Dry brush your body regularly and enjoy sauna sessions as often as possible.
  5. Protect yourself from the sun after about 15-20 minutes, for example with a cap, hat, or an organic sunscreen.
  6. Drink clean water throughout the day, preferably also lemon/lime water, herbal tea, and other beneficial drinks like coconut water or green juice with cucumber and celery, for example. If you drink coffee, choose organic coffee and drink a glass of water alongside it. Whatever you choose, the most important thing is the quality of the ingredients.
  7. Always remove any makeup in the evening and moisturize your skin after cleansing. Feel free to use serum.
  8. Take supplements that are good for skin, hair, and nails.
  9. Review your diet; below are tips on what foods support skin health.
