About Grön Lycka
Handcrafted soaps are made entirely from scratch and are cold-stirred or cold-processed.
Grön Lycka’s natural cosmetics are plant-based, and as you can understand, they do not use surfactants like sulfates and parabens, citric acid, or mineral oils.
The range is free from chemicals and additives. The softening and moisturizing glycerin, which forms naturally and is released from the fats during saponification, remains in the soap. Their fragrance oils are phthalate-free.
Grön Lycka produces products daily with direct deliveries to customers or retailers, as they want to provide us with fresh and nutrient-rich natural cosmetics.
Production takes place in the soap studio just outside Omberg in the scenic Rök. They make their range in small batches with love and care.
The recipes are designed with the utmost care, drawing inspiration directly from nature’s colors and patterns.
The products are safety-assessed by an authorized chemist and registered both in the EU database ECAS/CPNP and with the Medical Products Agency. Grön Lycka follows the Medical Products Agency’s requirements for so-called good manufacturing practice during production (Good Manufacturing Practice, abbreviated GMP).
Grön Lycka also wants to support us in minimizing plastic use at home through their long-lasting, solid products and by using recyclable packaging. This suits both those who want to “plastic detox” and those who travel a lot.
Solid Shampoo and Conditioner Bars
These are like beautiful art. The different colors come from natural pigments or clays.
What all Grön Lycka’s soaps have in common is that they are much harder than regular soaps. Therefore, they are extra, extra long-lasting and don’t get mushy easily.
They are all gentle and do not dry out the skin. Luxurious to have on display, as they become a nice decorative detail that stays mess-free on the sink.

We love the idea of shampoo bars; skipping water and plastic packaging is good for both the wallet and the environment. Grön Lycka’s clay shampoo is a different kind of shampoo bar.
It’s brilliant to add clay to the product. The texture becomes much firmer, not at all prone to getting mushy where it sits, and the clay gives the hair volume while cleansing and absorbing dirt.
The best part is that this shampoo bar lasts forever. Grön Lycka says one soap bar equals three (!) regular shampoo bottles.
Another great thing about this shampoo bar is that it is pH balanced (pH 5.5), which means you don’t need to do an acid rinse unless you want to.

Hair conditioner in solid form. There is also clay in the conditioner.
Grön Lycka says the conditioner bar equals three regular conditioner bottles (!).
With moderately warm water, it’s easy to rub the conditioner bar to apply it to the hair. Simply massage the bar over the hair in circular motions. If you have a sensitive scalp, massage it in there as well. Then rinse thoroughly with water.
This particular conditioner bar is incredibly long-lasting. The hair gets moisture, shine, and volume. Conditioner doesn’t always add volume, but Queen of Volume does.
