This is yet another product that deserves its very own post. A Moroccan black soap with a eucalyptus scent. I would say it is one of Loelle’s finest products *hugs the jar*.
Anyway, I am completely sold on this magical black soap. Once a week, I treat myself to extra time in the shower with this soap and a scrub glove.
What is black soap?
Don’t confuse this with African black soaps.
Moroccan black soap is a simple product with a short ingredient list, mostly consisting of organic olive oil, and cannot be used as a regular shower gel or body scrub.
The black soap is like thick syrup, very concentrated, and works best with a moderately rough scrub glove. A dollop on a damp glove creates wonderfully soft lather that scrubs away dead skin cells and dirt like nothing else.
Strangely, the soap does not dry out the skin. The skin becomes extremely soft, smooth, and silky. This is perfect for those with dry skin who don’t want to absorb creams and oils.
It’s excellent to scrub with this before applying self-tanner.
