Phytoplankton
Phytoplankton consists of plankton cultivated in purified seawater in photo-bioreactors. The cultivation takes place in a concentrated ionic mineral solution from seawater. Oceans Alive does not come from polluted oceans like many similar products. After harvesting, the solution is stabilized with a concentrated ionic trace mineral solution from purified seawater. The type of plankton cultivated is selected from over 43,000 different strains and matches the human nutritional profile almost identically. Plankton converts light into nutrition for marine life, and contains amino acids, natural vitamins, organic minerals, trace elements, live enzymes, fatty acids, omega-3, carotenoids, astaxanthin, chlorophyll, polysaccharides, glycogen, etc.
