Vermont Soap is a family-owned company from Vermont, USA, with a vision to make the soap industry healthier and more sustainable. Perhaps their most important contribution to the environment is that they only use natural base ingredients from sustainable sources in all their products. Vermont Soap has developed its own cleansing formula called Aloe Castile, which consists of organic saponified coconut, olive, and jojoba oils, and organic aloe vera. The scent comes from essential oils, and for those sensitive to fragrances, a fragrance-free version is available. This is the base from which the entire range of liquid soaps is made. Castile soap guarantees that what you're using is a real organic and simple soap made with oils, not a complex blend of ‘detergents’. Vermont Soap – an environmentally friendly option. Vermont Soap commits to conducting its business in an environmentally conscious way and emphasizes reuse and recycling. All soap from Vermont Soap Organics is free from artificial colors, synthetic fragrances, preservatives, and synthetic surfactants. Vermont Soap Organics uses rosemary extract as a natural “preservative”. The soap contains no hidden animal ingredients. The soap is not tested on animals. They use organic honey or organic beeswax in some of their skin care products. All soaps (except honey) are vegan-friendly.
