We are lowering prices on more than 2,000 products
From April 1, 2026, to December 31, 2027, the VAT on food in Sweden will be lowered from 12% to 6%.
This corresponds to approximately a 5.3% lower price and about 5 SEK less per hundred kronor when you buy nutritional supplements and health foods from us.
Our goal is to simplify better health. Therefore, we see this price reduction as an opportunity to give you even more value for your money, without compromising on quality.

Why isn't the price reduction exactly 6%?
However, when VAT on foodstuffs is halved, it doesn't become 6 percent cheaper, but rather 5.3 percent cheaper. This is because the change is calculated based on the VAT-free price.
Calculation Example
A food supplement that costs 100 SEK including 12 percent VAT in store
Step 1: Remove the old VAT (12%)
To find the price without VAT, we divide the sum by 1.12:
100 SEK ÷ 1.12 = 89.29 SEK, which is the price of the food supplement before VAT.
Step 2: Add the new VAT (6%)
Now we add 6% VAT to the price of the food supplement excluding VAT:
89.29 SEK × 1.06 = 94.65 SEK, which will be the new price in store.
Step 3: Calculate how much the price has decreased
Old price: 100 SEK
New price: 94.65 SEK
Total price reduction: 100 − 94.65 = 5.35 SEK, which in percentage is 5.35.
