There is a bonus function too, as the LED lighting mechanism flashes red when the water tank is empty.

Humio is a very well-designed product. It is quiet with minimal energy consumption and designed to elegantly fit into any room in your home without distracting you in any way. Humio efficiently covers up to 8-10 square meters, consumes less power than a light bulb, and provides up to 10 hours of operation per water tank of 2L. It is recommended to descale the humidifier with distilled water, although it is not a must.

You can choose between two levels of humidity – high and low. The ultrasonic vibrations are created by a metal diaphragm that vibrates at an ultrasonic frequency and emits moisture into the air. Humio operates at a low noise level for optimal comfort and creates very good air quality.

Buttons:
Button #1: Use this to switch the lamp on and off.
Button #2:
Press once to turn the lamp on and the highest setting for the humidifier.
Press twice to take the humidifier down to the low setting.
Press and hold button #2 to switch off both humidifier and lamp.

How to clean and maintain your Humio:

It is great to clean it daily and sanitize weekly or when you won’t be using your Humio for several days. We also recommend that you clean it properly before storing it away for some time. Please note that if water is left in the water tank for more than 24 hours there is a higher risk for bacterial contamination.

Maintenance:
1. Disconnect your Humio.
2. Remove the water tank from the motor base.
3. Empty all water from the motor base and water tank.
4. Wipe off all areas with a clean, soft towel.
5. Fill it with clean water.
6. Keep the motor base away from water.
