What is Magnifood complex?*
All Terranova's supplements are plant-based and contain no additives, synthetic fillers, sweeteners, or binding agents. Instead, plants, herbs, and berries are used as filling agents.
Magnifood is a synergy complex consisting of fresh, freeze-dried, and organically grown plants. In this way, the biochemical structure of the dried plant is preserved and practically resembles the original fresh plant, but in a more concentrated form. The blend is uniquely developed for each product as an additive (40-60% of the capsule volume) to create a substantial "magnification" of the effect on the other nutrients in the product.
Magnifood thus serves as a synergist, providing better absorption, bioavailability, and effect of the product's nutrients. It also provides a wide range of phytonutrients.
Their PhytoFRESH system ensures that most herbs and plants are freeze-dried, which preserves their bioactivity. Phytofresh is a method where immediately after harvest, the fresh plant, fruit, or herb is frozen at a very low temperature. The material is then freeze-dried using a unique method that removes 100% of all water.
About the contents:
Stabilized rice bran (SRB) – one of nature's richest sources containing vitamin E-related tocopherols and tocotrienols. The inclusion of rice bran in this product is primarily to compensate for the oxidizing effect that iron has on vitamin E.
Green barley grass – besides its iron content, barley grass is an excellent source of chlorophyll and folic acid (which is necessary for hemoglobin formation). Chlorophyll is particularly important because it is molecularly identical to hemoglobin, except for the fact that it contains magnesium instead of iron.
Acai berries – contains vitamin E, tocopherols and tocotrienols. Acai is primarily included to compensate for the oxidizing effect iron has on vitamin E.
