Spirulina is a freshwater microalgae. Often referred to as blue-green algae, due to the presence of both chlorophyll and phycocyanin. Chlorophyll is what makes plants green and is known to help with the growth and repair of tissue, to have antioxidant properties and to optimize the body’s absorption of many vitamins and minerals.

Spirulina provides a wide range of nutrients with many benefits and is very easily absorbed. Spirulina contains protein (all essential amino acids), carbohydrates, minerals, vitamins (not C and D), gamma linolenic acid, chlorophyll, phycocyanin and antioxidants. It is a complete protein source and easily digested by the body.

Dosage adults: 6 capsules 1-2 times a day with a glass of water. Start with a smaller dose and build up to an amount that feels good to you.
