Närokällan’s Bromelain contains a highly concentrated enzyme extract from the pineapple stem, a part of the plant that is naturally rich in bromelain. Each capsule provides 600 GDU / 900 MCU of enzyme activity. Bromelain can be taken with meals or between meals, depending on how the product is intended to be used.

Bromelain enzyme activity

Bromelain’s enzyme activity is usually measured in GDU (Gelatin Digestion Units) or MCU (Milk Clotting Units). These units describe the enzyme’s ability to break down protein.
