Tea Tree is a powerful antiseptic oil. It has the ability to fight bacteria, viruses, and fungi. Akamuti's organic tea tree oil is carefully produced to preserve the oil's natural quality and distinctive aroma.
Provides relief and protection
Tea tree oil is a valued essential oil widely used in skin and hair care. It is especially suitable for oily and blemished skin and is a popular ingredient in products for scalp issues such as dandruff. Its fresh, warm, and slightly herbal scent also makes it popular in aromatherapy. We always keep it on hand for unwelcome pimples and insect bites. Can be applied spotwise on acne and mild insect bites.
Organic essential Tea Tree essential oil (Melaleuca alternifolia).
Always dilute Tea Tree before use in a carrier oil as it is a very strong essential oil. Dilute 5 drops of essential oil in 10 ml of carrier oil (such as jojoba, almond, apricot, or avocado) for general use on the skin.
1. For acne: Put one drop directly on a cotton swab and dab on the acne spot. Do not apply to the entire face, too strong!
2. Cold: Drop 2-4 drops into boiling water and inhale under a towel. Feel free to mix with eucalyptus or peppermint.
3. Sore throat and mouth rinse for inflamed gums: 1-2 drops in water, gargle several times a day and spit out. Note: DO NOT swallow!
4. Athlete's foot: A few drops in a foot bath for athlete's foot and nail fungus or one drop directly on the athlete's foot.
5. Dandruff: 5-8 drops of Tea Tree diluted in 1/2 dl oil, e.g., jojoba oil or avocado oil. Rub into the scalp and leave on for 15 minutes. Wash hair as usual. Some sensitive people may react. You can also mix a few drops directly into shampoo, about 8 drops in 200 ml shampoo.
6. Disinfectant: Use up to 1 teaspoon per liter of water for, e.g., diaper bins or refrigerators.
WARNING! Not for children under 12 years, pregnant women, epileptics, or on very sensitive skin, eczema, or wounds. Not directly on animals.
