Five natural fiber sources with calcium
The formula combines several natural fiber sources to provide a varied fiber supplement. The product comes in convenient single-serve sachets, making it easy to use at home or take with you on the go.
Why fiber?
Fiber is an important part of a balanced diet and contributes, among other things, plant-based components that pass through the digestive system. Fiber supports regular bowel function, increased feelings of fullness, and healthy digestive routines. Some types of fiber can also serve as nourishment for bacteria in the gut.
The five different fibers
- Inulin is a natural fiber that passes through the digestive system without being broken down in the small intestine. In the large intestine, it can be fermented by bacteria and serve as nourishment for certain parts of the gut microbiota. Inulin is therefore often described as a prebiotic fiber.
- Kiwi fruit powder is made from kiwi and provides naturally occurring fiber and other plant compounds. Kiwi contains both soluble and insoluble fiber and is a popular ingredient in fiber products.
- Psyllium husk is the outer coating of psyllium seeds and a natural source of soluble fiber. The fiber has a high capacity to bind water and swells when it comes into contact with water. This forms a gel-like mass that increases the volume of the intestinal contents and supports normal bowel function.
- Acacia gum is a soluble fiber extracted from the sap of acacia trees. The fiber can be fermented by bacteria in the large intestine and is often used as a prebiotic fiber source in dietary supplements.
- Green banana flour is made from unripe bananas and naturally contains resistant starch. Resistant starch is not broken down in the same way as ordinary starch in the small intestine. Instead, it reaches the large intestine, where it can be used by gut bacteria.
Convenient single-serve sachets
The convenient sachets protect the contents from moisture and help preserve the product’s quality. Each sachet contains a ready-to-use dose, making the product easy to use without having to measure the amount yourself. The sachets are also easy to take to work, the gym, or on trips, fitting seamlessly into everyday life.
Things to consider
Contains psyllium, inulin, and acacia, which may cause mild digestive discomfort in people who are not used to fiber. If this applies to you, start with half a daily dose and gradually increase the amount as the discomfort subsides. Drink plenty of water.
