Does moringa oil help with acne?
Moringa oil has shown potential benefits for acne-prone skin. Using moringa oil as part of your skincare routine can help moisturize and nourish the skin without clogging pores. Its light texture makes it suitable for oily and acne-prone skin, as it can provide moisture without feeling heavy. It is important to note that moringa oil may not work for everyone, as individual reactions to skincare products can vary. It is recommended to do a patch test before applying moringa oil or any new skincare product.
Why does moringa oil sometimes look cloudy and solid?
Moringa oil tends to become cloudy when it is cold. The fatty acids in the oil crystallize at temperatures below 25 °C, causing the oil to solidify. When the temperature drops, the more temperature-sensitive fatty acids begin to "coagulate," giving the appearance of sediment. This is a natural process to be expected in the product. The quality of the oil is not affected by its cloudy appearance. Simply place the bottle in a room with a temperature above 25 °C, or near a heater for a few minutes, to return the oil to its liquid form. This does not affect the quality.
