Xylitol is also called birch sugar because it is produced from birch trees. It is a natural alternative to regular sugar.

Birch sugar has a refreshing sweet taste and a low GI (Glycemic Index) of 11.

Dosage: 1 tablespoon. Use in baking or add directly to coffee, tea or cocoa. Replace regular sugar with a smaller amount of xylitol when baking.
