Garden of Life's RAW Q10 is a powerful formula that delivers 200 mg of Q10 per serving. RAW Q10 is a wholefoods raw food supplement blended in a base of raw, cold-pressed chia seed oil, organically grown fruits and vegetables, and beneficial gut bacteria. This unique blend is free from artificial ingredients and ensures that this important fat-soluble antioxidant is well absorbed by the body through its combination with chia seed oil, as Q10 requires the presence of fat for proper absorption.
Why CoQ10?
Q10 is a fat-soluble antioxidant and electron-transporting co-enzyme that plays a crucial role in energy production in the cells' powerhouses (mitochondria). When cellular energy decreases, cells die faster and the aging process accelerates. Q10 is found in high concentrations in organs that consume a lot of energy, especially in the heart but also in the liver and adrenal glands. As we age, the levels of Q10 in the body decline.
Dosage: 1 capsule daily for adults. Q10 should be taken with a meal for optimal absorption by the body.
